A Client-Centric RIA in Houston is on the hunt for their next Rockstar, a strategic addition to their advisory team to cultivate new client relationships through the creation and implementation of sophisticated financial plans. The Wealth Advisor will play an essential role in client prospecting, onboarding, and service, responsible for new client acquisition, identifying and closing new AUM/NAUA, cross-selling, and bringing in referrals. The ideal candidate is energetic, personable, and inherit ability to connect with others, building relationships with various COIs as trustworthy advocate in the community.

Key Responsibilities
- Executes on firm level new client acquisition marketing strategy
- Develops referrals from clients, COIs, and personal networking efforts
- Leads seminars and webinars as appropriate
- Distributes firm level digital marketing content
- Leads meetings and client interaction as Wealth Advisor.
- Identifies, tracks, and closes new opportunities within the firm’s 3 core competencies.
- Owns his/her data inside marketing CRM and ensures accurate and timely updates are made to company pipeline.
- Accountable for the client relationship and the client experience when serving as Wealth Advisor.
- Mentors and develops other Wealth Advisors.
Qualifications
- Impeccable communication and people skills
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in the financial services industry
- Demonstrated ability to successfully engage, close, and onboard clients
- Series 63/65 or Equivalent
- Life/Health General Lines Agent
- CFP Certificate, or other SME designation
- Experience with the EOS® Model, Process, and Toolbox (preferred)
- Experience with SEC Compliance requirements
- Background and understanding of terminology associated with Insurance highly preferred
- Experience working with SmartOffice, Orion and eMoney or similar platforms
- Proficient in Microsoft Office 365
- Continued business education, workshops, and seminars
- Excellent organizational skills
- This position does NOT require portable AUM
